A three-day culinary adventure with Indonesian food as the star, the Ubud Food Festival is Southeast Asia’s most exciting new culinary event showcasing Indonesia’s diverse cuisine, innovative chefs and extraordinary local produce.
In 2016, the Ubud Food Festival will focus on the theme of ‘Go Local’. Alongside Indonesian chefs, restaurateurs, producers and food professionals, celebrated culinary icons from around the world will dish up a program rich in fresh produce, fresh tastes, and fresh ideas.
From coffee to chilli, peanuts to papaya, tofu to turmeric, local produce will be the star in a program spanning live cooking demonstrations, special events, workshops, foodie tours, markets, live music, film screenings and much, much more.
The Ubud Food Festival will explore Indonesian food in all its forms: a journey across one of the most diverse culinary landscapes in the world.
Ubud Food Festival is a major annual project of the Yayasan Mudra Swari Saraswati, with a vision of enriching the lives of Indonesians through community-building and cultural programs. It is the sibling event of Ubud Writers & Readers Festival and Bali Emerging Voices Festival.
