Actually, there are 2 kinds of Jauk: Jauk Keras and Jauk Manis. The movement of Jauk Keras is more�energic and the gamelan is more faster, meanwhile Jauk Manis is much more softer. Jauk dance portrays the King (wearing crown on his head) who wandering in his kingdom territory.� He can be graceful but he also can be fierce.� Jauk Keras wear red mask and Jauk Manis wear white mask.
